We had the honor of supporting IFP Energies nouvelles at the AVL Wangener Automotive Symposium. Idir ARSLANE, a Power HIL Engineer at CRITT M2A, collaborated with Alexandre Battiston from IFPEN to highlight the crucial role of SiC inverters in the characterization and optimization of electric machines.
At the event, we proudly showcased the RedHat R&D project, led by LSEE (Laboratory of Electrotechnical Systems and Environment) from the University of Artois. This project focuses on the development of an innovative axial flux electric machine, tested using IFPEN’s SiC inverter, which is commercialized by Alphée Développement. This partnership demonstrates the powerful integration of scientific expertise and testing engineering, underlining how collaboration drives technological advances in power electronics.
We extend our thanks to IFPEN, LSEE, and AVL SET GmbH for the opportunity to contribute to this forward-thinking event.
Special appreciation goes to all participants for the productive discussions and insightful exchanges. This event opens up exciting new projects and future perspectives for the automotive industry.
The future of electromobility is promising, with advanced inverters playing a pivotal role in the transition to more sustainable and efficient powertrain designs.
Innovation and collaboration are the key to our future!
