  • Mission profiles
  • Powertrain Vehicle-in-the-Loop
  • Tuning and calibration
  • Energy consumption management
  • Direct torque measurement
  • Road and track profile reproduction with cornering simulation
  • Gearbox and transmission testing
  • Electric axle characterization and durability testing
  • Benchmarking

Our facilities can reproduce a wide range of operating conditions to assess vehicle and powertrain behavior in a controlled and repeatable test environment.

Multi-Machine e-Powertrain Test Bench

CRITT M2A operates a multi-machine test bench designed for electric powertrain testing and the reproduction of various vehicle operating profiles.

  • Battery simulators

The test bench features high-power battery simulators with the following capabilities:

• Current: up to 1,800 A
• Power: up to 750 kW
• Voltage: up to 1,200 V

These systems supply the powertrain under different operating conditions, enabling detailed analysis of its behavior and performance.

  • Multi-machines test bench performance

The test bench provides high-performance capabilities for demanding e-Powertrain testing:

• Power: 500 kW
• Torque: 2,500 Nm per machine / wheel
• Peak torque: up to 3,500 Nm

  • Reproducing Real-World Driving Conditions

To reproduce representative vehicle operating conditions on the test bench, our facilities also feature:

• a gear-shifting robot;
• a wheel slip simulation system, enabling tire behavior to be reproduced.

This configuration makes it possible to work with different mission profiles and reproduce road and track driving conditions.
