CRITT M2A is taking another major step forward in the development of its testing capabilities with NOGEBAT, a new infrastructure designed to address the challenges of next-generation batteries and support the development of the Battery Valley in the Hauts-de-France region.
After several months of development, the NOGEBAT project is now becoming a reality with the official inauguration of these new facilities, which will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at CRITT M2A in Bruay-la-Buissière.
NOGEBAT: New Capabilities to Support the Evolution of Battery Technologies
With the rapid growth of electric mobility and the fast-paced evolution of energy storage technologies, requirements for battery testing, characterization and validation are changing significantly.
With NOGEBAT, CRITT M2A is continuing to expand its testing capabilities to support manufacturers and industry stakeholders in their projects involving next-generation batteries.
This new infrastructure further strengthens CRITT M2A’s expertise and technological capabilities at the heart of a region that has become strategic for the battery industry in France and across Europe.
Official Inauguration on November 24, 2026
To mark the official inauguration of NOGEBAT, CRITT M2A will welcome partners, manufacturers and battery industry stakeholders to discover this new infrastructure.
The morning will feature presentations from several key stakeholders involved in the NOGEBAT project. Participants will then have the opportunity to discover CRITT M2A’s new facilities, meet and exchange with our teams, and enjoy a networking reception to celebrate this important milestone.
