The day began at CRITT M2A with the official opening of SYTEC 2025, a major event dedicated to technological innovation and the transition to electric mobility. More than 80 participants from the industrial and research sectors gathered for a day focused on sharing expertise and fostering collaboration. Jérôme Bodelle opened the event, followed by a keynote by Christophe Mille, setting the tone for a series of rich and technical presentations.
The morning was structured around conferences led by Clément Vandingenen, covering the key challenges of the industry and sustainable mobility. The lunch break was followed by a networking cocktail, providing a valuable opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and strengthen partnerships among innovation stakeholders.
The afternoon offered high-value content, particularly on battery abuse testing: methods, standards, and approval perspectives. Participants also discovered the VITESS project, focused on developing a digital battery testing platform based on a multiphysics model, as well as practical applications of artificial intelligence within an SME and a testing center.
The day concluded with an engaging round table on the topic “Industrial ramp-up: what’s the right pace to electrify mobility?”, bringing together experts from Renault Group, Verkor, ACC Automotive Cells Company, and Groupe Lempereur, moderated by Yannick Boucher.
This edition of SYTEC 2025 stood out for the quality of the presentations, the richness of the discussions, and a collective energy focused on the future. To conclude this exceptional day, a special evening celebrated the 25th anniversary of CRITT M2A, marking a quarter-century of innovation, expertise, and partnership in support of industry.
