CRITT M2A is taking a new step forward in battery testing with the installation of 44 climatic chambers in its new battery testing facility. This state-of-the-art infrastructure will meet the growing needs of the electromobility industry, delivering very high-level performance.

Thanks to this investment, CRITT M2A significantly strengthens its testing capabilities. The site will now offer more than 450 cell channels and 40 module channels, with current ranges from 600 to 1200 A. These systems enable battery testing with high precision, reliability, and performance.

This major technical project is carried out by its subsidiary MA2S Maintenance, which is responsible for the full installation of the equipment. The teams handled the setup of the climatic chambers as well as the entire technical infrastructure, including networks, ventilation, wiring, and safety systems. Their expertise and commitment have been key to the success of this strategic project.

With this new facility, CRITT M2A is ready to support its partners in developing the batteries of tomorrow. Future tests will ensure high levels of performance, reliability, and safety.

This new building is part of the NOGEBAT project, co-funded by the Hauts-de-France Region and the European Union, highlighting CRITT M2A’s commitment to innovation and energy transition.
